How to use
Washing and care
The Original bed comes apart completely — five hidden zips run around it. Take the filling out first and wash the cover on its own. Hand-wash, or use a gentle cold cycle, then dry it in the shade until it is completely dry before the filling goes back in. Skip high heat: it flattens the fibre and can shrink the cover. The pillow-and-blanket set is worth washing before its first use — it comes out softer than it went in.
Good to know
- Water-repellent fabric: spills sit on the surface long enough to wipe away, so it needs a full wash less often.
- A vacuum or lint roller once a week stretches the time between washes.
- Always dry in the shade — strong sun fades the colour.
- Only put the filling back once the cover is bone dry; trapped damp is what makes a bed smell.
- Fluff the filling after every wash to bring the shape back.
